Guided Delaware River Paddle Tour

Join Tinicum Conservancy on the morning of Friday, July 31st for a 4.5 mile paddle trip and ecological exploration of the Delaware River within the Tinicum Landscape.  This small-group paddle will celebrate the Wild & Scenic Delaware River through an immersive experience and interactive discussion with two local experts:  Katie Martens (DCNR Environmental Education Specialist at the Delaware Canal State Park) & Erik Silldorff (river ecologist and Resource Protection Coordinator at Tinicum Conservancy).

        Location:  Upper Black Eddy to Tinicum Park

        Group Size:  12 participants (plus staff / guides)

        Age restrictions:  paddlers must be 15 years old or older

        Price:  free for members of Tinicum Conservancy;  $50 for non-members

        Kayaks:  provided for those who register (see note below**)

        Snorkeling:  opportunity to snorkel the Delaware River during our lunch stop!

This event is subject to change or cancellation based on river levels & weather.  The safety of all participants is paramount on this trip, and all participants will be required to wear their PFD (aka, life jacket) at all times when paddling and wading in the river.
